1971-1980       University of Innsbruck – Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture - finished as Dipl.-Ing. (MSc)

2004-2005       studies on mediation – Mediator for building, international affairs, environmental problems

 

Career
1980-1986 Ing. Mayreder Kraus und Co – contractor: leading engineer in design department, site engineer on several projects – hydroelectric power plant, waste water disposal, hospital;

1986-present founder and owner of IB-Brandner, Chartered Engineering Consultant for Civil Engineering;

1993-present member of the Federal Section of Chartered Engineering Consultants in the Austrian Federal Chamber of Architects and Chartered Engineering Consultants

2008-present Chairman of the Federal Expert Group of Civil Engineering Consultants – Austrian Federal Chamber of Architects and Chartered Engineering Consultants

2018 - 2021 Vice President/ President Elect of the European Council of Civil Engineers (ECCE)
